I’m Back!

Hello everyone, and apologies for being away so long! As I’m sure you’re all well aware, 2020 has been a real struggle, motivation has been low and in the past few weeks life really has gone zero to one hundred, but I’m back now.

Since I wrote last I’ve downloaded Facebook onto my phone and deleted it a million times, I’ve had a gin in a pub for the first time since March, I’ve had multiple holidays cancelled and been on three stay-cations in the UK, I’ve graduated from uni with a first (YAYYYY!!👩‍🎓), turned 21 and become a Cat Mam. And amongst all that I’ve been in the process of developing my own business, so yeah it’s been a busy few months😂 I hope you’ve all been well and that you’re all doing okay, it’s been a crappy year but we’re getting through it (only 4 months left now).

Another great thing that the past few months has given me is clarity. I created a blogging instagram account and tried to be like so many other bloggers but I realised that at the moment it really isn’t for me, I’d love to be obsessed with makeup and reality shows but it’s really not for me. I tried that out and it really doesn’t work for me so I’ve decided to bring this blog back to the basics, and post about things that I love.

So if you’re interested in:

  • Travel (for now it will be about stay-cations and trips I’ve been on/want to go on, but eventually it’ll expand onto foreign travel too – corona depending)
  • Entertainment (mainly books and TV shows but also the occasional movie/music/sporting event, depending on changes to restrictions)
  • Fashion (my favourite places for bargains, sustainable fashion, de-cluttering and packing for trips away)
  • Lifestyle (this covers all-sorts so chatty pieces about my life such as life in lockdown, growing up, etc. as well as pieces about saving money, baking, life events, planning for Christmas, etc. and also some posts about my new fur-child, Toast)
  • Student Life (obviously I’m a graduate now so the context of these posts will change but I want to post some pieces about adjusting to life after uni, the pressures on you as a graduate, etc. as well as advice for new students and people looking at university as a possible route for them)

So if that interests you, please stick around and subscribe to my blog. I’ve decided to put less pressure on myself with this blog as I ended up burning myself out last time, but I will still be posting at least a couple of times a month so keep an eye out.
